#emiratisation 2x Quantity Surveyor, Abu Dhabi
Our world class construction and engineering clients are looking to hire 2x Quantity Surveyor’s for their operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful individuals will prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client, Prices all the variations, Issues the monthly valuation report, Prepares the monthly Interim Payment Application to the sub-contractors, Prepares the allowable for budget control on monthly basis, Initiates cash flow & keep updating it for accounts department, Prepares all interim certificate payments to sub-contractors, Issues all the subcontractors final settlement, Prepares final measurement under the contracts, Assists Technical Office Engineer, Checks quantities/ works done at end of the month, Quantifies all the back charges.
He, or she will also verify the steel reinforcement stock on site and keeps records up to date, Monitors daily concrete pouring and weekly the quantity to be poured and the quantities of steel, Coordinates meetings with Client/ Engineer/ Sub-contractors, Issues the weekly concrete requirement, Plans the execution of the forthcoming Works, Progress meeting with Client/ Engineer, Guard their personal safety and the safety of others that may be affected by their acts
and/or omissions and Respect the Life Saving Rules.

Possess a practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking.
Possess a creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
Have a strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn
sophisticated design and costing IT packages.
Possess negotiation and teamwork skills.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES TO ACHIEVE:
EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATES:
A bachelor’s degree in surveying or building/construction/ Civil or Structural. or Commerce, or Economics
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE (BRIEF):
At least 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with a large contracting
company, preferably with Main Contractor.
Excellent in MS Office.
Experience in the Middle East is highly preferred.
Proficient in English Communication (verbal/written)
